Do Flowers Think They’re Sexy?

Does a rose look at another as say “oooh!”

And does that other blush

If a red bud could redden?

Does the sent of jasmine

intoxicate, set petals aquiver,

stamens erect

for just one brush from another fleshy petal?

Do sunflowers bow their bodacious heads coyly?

Bobbing in the wind,

maybe yes, maybe no.

Do frilled poppy petticoats set imaginations wild

for the foxglove lurking overhead,

each purple cup

a perfect orb

fuzzy

nippled.

Does the crocus push its way through the snow

with a grunt and say

Look at me, baby.
